Well folks, i had a great day at the range. I tested some loads for the Hornady 110 GR V-Max in my brand new built AR. The rifle has a 16" polygonal 3R 1-8.5 Barrel made by Black Rain Ordnance. I had some issues at first when Black Rain sent out a prototype barrel with a gas port that was too small and offset and a twist that didn't work for 300AAC. But it only took 40 seconds on the phone and 4 days for the exchange and everything was made right. Great service Black Rain!. We are trying to find out what you put in your BOB! We realize that there are different options. In our case we keep 2 kits that can be combined.
Kit1 is a short term 3 day kit
Kit2 is the long term SHTF or WCS kit that gets combined with Kit1, but everybody has a different idea what is needed. Please be as detailed as possible.
